The Mid-State Realtors® Community Foundation has released the 2012 Scholarship Application. This scholarship is awarded to a child, stepchild or grandchild of a member of the Mid-State Association of Realtors. Application deadline is May 4, 2012. Click here to download the application. Also members of the CT Association of REALTORS can have their children apply for the Raymond Gates Memorial Scholarship. Please check out their website at www.ctrealtor.com for the application.
The Mid-State Association has received approval from the IRS for our new Charitable Organization: The Mid-State Realtors® Community Foundation, Inc. This new entity is a 501 c 3 organization which now allows us to accept donations that are tax deductible for the contributor. This Organization will now encompass our Christmas Wishes for Kids, Easter Baskets, Backpacks and our Scholarship Programs. Your donation to these are now a tax deduction!!
We are positive that by having this type of Organization we will be able to secure some larger corporate donations for our future Golf Tournaments.
